Elaboration of Los Ranchos olive oil :
Los Ranchos olive oil is elaborated in a highly perfected mill which principle is based
on cold centrifugation, without using any chemicals. It’s 100 % pure fruit juice.
After being selected by hand, the olives are washed by a specific machine to eliminate
leaves, small branches, and other foreign elements that could cause physical damage
or alter the taste of the oil. Then comes the crushing. The paste obtained is mixed, then sent to a horizontal centrifuge decanter to separate the three components: the pomace (pressed flesh and pits), the water contained in the olives, and finally the olive oil itself.
The pomace is evacuated, while the oil is directed to a vertical centrifuge decanter to
eliminate the remaining water and impurities. The extraction process being finished, the oil is stored in stainless steel tanks to rest and decant naturally. After several weeks of storage at controlled temperature, necessary for the oil to obtain its aromas and final characteristics, we proceed to bottling and labeling. It is the rigorous respect of all these stages that gives Los Ranchos olive oil its purity, its quality and its unique taste.
